I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but if not let me know and I will look further as I use a braille n speak. Press A R sign cord for the speach parameters. Now press spacebar and you will here things such as keyecho words, keyecho, key click on, and silent keys. Just choose keyecho words. Also, you might wanna try this. Press st sign cord for the statis menu and at the very top of the list with dot l cord there's a thing called enter active, by default this is turned off, press y to turn it on. Now when you press the spacebar after you type something, the word you typed will be spoken aloud.
Hth,

Sorry I don't have any as I use the 2000 model. However, do you still have the manual or the quick refference guide? If so you may wanna look there. Even though you have a different model though, those options still should come up.

thanks for that, thought there was a users list. no, a friend of mine is having to use it at college until his new equipment comes through.

I would go on ftp.blazie.com there's a bunch of old crap on there that nobody uses. Except for the games, which rock, there are obselete Braille N Speak manuals still in existence.

hmm, hmm, hmm! great ftp website... maybe i should contact one of my colombian buddies and tell him about it since he is looking for something to download for the braille lite, or 'n speak... but, hmm, see the utilities and tell me what you think. Also... well, I am disapointed. It said foreign, and the spanish folder was empty! and, I was hoping to get a firmware revision for 2002 coppy instead of having to buy the disk again!
